Ronda is well known for its charm and magic environment... Nevertheless, its greatest highlight is its incredible and emblematic "Puente Nuevo" (New Bridge), over the "Tajo de Ronda", a gorge with more than 100 meters deep excavated by the river Guadalevín. The Tajo canyon is the only one that crosses the town and offers unique and unforgettable views!
Canyoning (known as canyoneering in the U.S.) is travelling in canyons using a variety of techniques that may include other outdoor activities such as walking, scrambling, climbing, jumping, abseiling (rapelling) and/or swimming.

From the center of the town, full of history and culture, we will start our three-hour adventure where we will face abseils of more than 30m and great jumps. All this in marvalous surroundings offering stunning views of the inland Andalucia.

El Tajo de Ronda canyoning and abseil experience is of medium level, and suitable for anyone with normal physical conditions willing to discover something new.
It also makes a great holiday activity for families and groups of friends. However, note the fist abseil in the cascade is quite extreme !
